Course descpription
A 1-day Workshop on Focused Cardiac Advanced ECHO-ICU (FoCUS +). The FoCUS© course is specifically designed for critical care and emergency physicians, anesthesiologists, acute cardiac care clinicians, and healthcare providers in general, dealing with cardiovascular emergencies.
It is a workshop detailing the use of cardiac doppler in shock as an additional component of the focus exam. the workshop is an introduction to the ultrasound evaluation of fluid responsiveness, cardiac output, and intracardiac pressures, and will lay the foundations for command of the ultrasound “non-invasive pulmonary artery catheter.
Registration
The registration fee is 500CHF and includes:
- 1-day course attendance with theoretical and practical sessions, course handouts.
- a WINFOCUS certificate of attendance and SGUM CME credits (pending request).
